Connect to iFIX / FIX32 from any custom written application on your network

Astec's SCADA Portal provides a single server application that acts as a gateway to the realtime process information contained within a GEFanuc FIX installation.

The application runs a server that provides a web service for any third party software that can consume xml data via an HTTP GET call. Most development environments can consume data from such sources. You may have a requirement to display real-time data on your company's intranet or you may wish to read and write to your SCADA system from a wireless hand-held device. Our server component opens up a wide range of possibilities.

Users may read data values directly by simply calling the server from within internet explorer specifiying the tags they wish to work with.

Muliple node Systems

The SCADA Portal can be used to communicate with all SCADA nodes referenced by the iFIX SCU configuration on the node where the application has been installed. This can provide a powerful addition to your multi-node SCADA system.

Licensing
